Our humble beginnings started back in 1957 in a wood frame structure with a dirt floor. At that time we were selling truck mounted milk tanks. In the 1960s & 1970s as the business grew we branched out to include sales and service of transport tank trailers for juice, water, food grade oil, & liquid sweeteners.
As Superior Tank & Trailer expanded in the 1980s, a 10,000 square foot facility was constructed. A line of chemical tank trailers was added to include MC-307 & MC-312 tank trailers. In 1994 we moved into our current location. This facility increased our available space to 20,000 square feet. With this additional space we were able to add product lines to include asphalt tank trailers, petroleum tank trailers for gas and diesel fuel, and Dot 407 tank trailers. We also introduced a line of dry bulk tank trailers for plastics, sand, cement, flour, & sugar.
Superior Tank & Trailer has now added oilfield tank trailers and related tank trailers. We have a full line of vacuum tank trailers and crude oil tank trailers.
In our shop we have added an ASME “U”stamp & an National Board “R” stamp to keep current for service requirements for DOT 406, 407, & 412 tank trailers and equipment.
Our growth has permitted us to offer to our customers a full line of products for sales, service, parts, and leasing.
