The US Postal Service has filed for a 2011 Rate Increase. This rate increase will be proposed at 6.5% for ECR FLATS / Bulk Mailers like TNT Magazine and other magazines like ours.
The USPS has an increase limiting guideline which allows increases equal to the current CPI rate (.6% currently). USPS is filing for hardship and wants the following increases above the CPI rate.
First Class from .44 to .46
First Class Postcard from .28 to .30
Periodicals up 8%
Catalogs up 5.1%
ECR Flats up 6.5%
Contact your Elected officials and tell them NO!!
Remember this when it comes time to vote!
